- It is called ambiguous because it has the possibility to be 1, 2, or no triangle that satisfy the given conditions of the conditions.
- The law of sine only works on right triangles or else the data from the triangle would be incorrect and not possible to prove.
- You have four sides, a b c and h. To find the area or any information on the triangle you will need to find out how many sides their are on the triangle you will use the given information, normally an SSA will be provided so you can use that to discover how many sides the triangle(s) have. Once you have found out how many triangles their it is as simple as using the law of sine or cosine by splitting the triangle into right triangles.
