In the short film The Obsolete Man it seems that society has turned upside down and their views have been skewed into an idea that they view as righteous and the single and only correct truth. It may be sad to say but the government or whatever body of leadership the court was apart of was able to apply the question "can community come together without truth or righteousness" to their creed or motto. What ever way the leading body worked it was effective if not confusing at times. It convinced people of a single answer through jaded half truths that were meant to weed out those with different opinions so they could be either converted or executed as examples of the public on how they should act inn the world they now live in. The world that we lives gives us the opinion that what we saw was wrong and having grown up a free human being I believe that the way the man on the pedestal accused the librarian was wrong. I probably would not say the same if I grew up in the world of the obsolete man. I view what they did as the opposite of righteous and a lie but to the people that exist in that place in time and space that film would prove that the government doesn't have to be truthful or righteousness to be effective.
